This rod can be found by picking up the Front Cover (EM1-1) on your Phoenix Electric Tape Machine (PE1, PE2, PE4-E). It spans frame to frame and the Encoder Disc (E1-4D) is found on the left side shaft. The Feed Wheel (E3-3) and the Encoder disc spin in tandem to dispense the correct length of tape.
