This is a complete handle assembly, it includes the Grip (M5-4) and all springs and pawls necessary to change your old handle. If the Gear (M5-1) isn't turning correctly or if the handle doesn't snap all the way back, a spring or a stud may have broken in use, you may need a new handle.
